A lifelong Memphian, Abbie Hale could also be called a permanent legal eagle. Starting at a young age, Abbie’s curiosity regarding the judicial branch was stoked in elementary school when she learned about the U.S. court system. Her interest flourished in high school and while in college at Christian Brothers University, Abbie took matters into her own hands, collaborating with a professor to complete a jurisprudence independent study. She also participated in the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature moot court competition, which cemented her decision to attend law school.
During her tenure at Liberty University School of Law in Virginia, Abbie served as a law clerk, summer associate and legal associate at Harris Shelton, where she completed various research assignments on matters of the law including: medical malpractice, municipal, estate planning, tax, business, real estate, and family.
In her free time, Abbie loves spending time at the Memphis Zoo; participating in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon; and taking her pug, Martha Washington, on walks in Shelby Farms.
