Emily Morton assists clients in navigating the unique process of buying and selling residential and commercial real estate, whether it be their first home or for their investment portfolio. In addition to real estate law, Emily practices in estate planning and probate, general business law, including copyright and trademark prosecution, and municipal law. Her availability and “open door” policy creates a sense of solidarity with her clients.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, while graduating summa cum laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi. While at the University of Mississippi, Emily earned an Ole Miss First Scholarship. This scholarship provides deserving students mentoring and leadership development training.
She has spent time in Washington D.C. working for the public interest group Wider Opportunities for Women and interned in the Memphis office of U.S. Senator Bob Corker.
In her free time, Emily spends her weekends at Pickwick Lake, Orange Beach, Alabama or cheering on the Ole Miss rebels with her adopted golden retriever Shelby Jo.
