He is the immediate Past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the Memphis Bar Association and is Co-Chair of the Bankruptcy Court Liaison Committee, Western District of Tennessee. He is the former judicial law clerk to the Honorable David S. Kennedy, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Tennessee and served as assistant counsel to the Committee on the Judiciary of the United States House of Representatives. Mr. Douglass' clients include bankruptcy trustees, banks, debtors, creditor committees and an agricultural lender.
